Twin Falls Springbrook
Twin Falls in the Springbrook National Park is located 1 1/2 hours south of Brisbane and under an hour drive from the Gold Coast. Being this close makes it an easy day out or a great weekend escape. Once you arrive you have many options here of what you can do in terms of nature walks and lookouts.
Twin Falls is a fantastic destination for bird watchers with a diverse array of ancient songbirds such as Eastern Yellow Robin spot. There are many other amazing Australian animals to observe like ringtail possums,spotted-tailed quoll. If you are particularly lucky when you are camping there then you might just see a sweet little sugar glider .
It is possible to camp at Twin Falls in the Springbrook National Park. There is only one place that you can camp called The Settlement. It has a total of 11 sites that are suitable for tents, camper van and camper trailers. You have access to fresh drinking water, free electric BBQ’s, a cooking shelter and toilets. There are no showers or bins provided at this location. You will need to be responsible for your own rubbish. Bookings are essential.
