Hammock better then Tent -What is best in the rain?

What style of camping is best in the rain? I have asked myself this question so many times. I came across this video and must say that I am now ready to reconsider my whole approach to camping in future.🤔 Really don’t know how rest of the family are going to adjust mind you😂 Hammock better then Tent hands down (in this instance).

So logistically I can say that I would prefer to just go camping and use a hammock and tarp set-up. So many benefits. Consequently, less gear to lug around. Great option for summer months. Fast and easy set up. Anywhere anytime. Packing up would be a breeze. Right away I tend to see the reasons why hammocks might be better than tent camping. If you are wanting to pursue the purchase of a camping hammock do your research. I found this Aussie camping hammock site to be comprehensive and easy to navigate.

For Australian conditions I would definitely recommend that you purchase a hammock with a mosquito net attached. Australia has so many creepy little insects and massive spiders.😳🕷🦟🐛
