Natural Bridge – Springbrook National Park
Natural Bridge, Springbrook is a spectacular natural cave and waterfall system in the Springbrook National Park. The Natural Bridge lies on the boarder of NSW and QLD and on a scenic route which avoids the M1. Southwest of the Gold Coast it’s an excellent escape from the hustle and bustle. It is a relatively easy walk to do takes around 30 mins to complete the circuit. This track traverses through the subtropical rainforest and eucalypts trees. There is a wide and diverse array of native fauna to observe and admire. You can come across anything from Red-necked pademelons to Koalas. This national park district has become a sanctuary for birds, it has more than 100 different bird species taking refuge in its historic trees.
It also boasts one of the few glow worm habitats, however, they are pretty hard to see at the best of times. It is still a beautiful location to explore some temperate rainforest and have a quiet picnic. Public BBQ’s and Toilets available for use.
Unfortunately you can not swim at Natural Bridge Springbrook. With several creeks in the vicinity bring your swimmers and take a dip in one of the creeks.
