Kombi Van love

Its hard not to fall in love with an old VW Kombi Van. Theses brilliant specimens are simply majestic. Granted their air cooled so probably not great for Australian conditions. They attract authorities and would be thieves. But make no mistake Kombi Vans ooze cool.

These Kombi Vans, presented at the Birmingham 2017 VW meetup and are a site to be cherished. A beautifully decked out Kombi Van can set you back more than a Ferrari. The most expensive one on Carsales currently is priced at $259.995 Aussie dollars. Yep that’s right, quarter of a mill.

While its nice to be nostalgic, I think I would prefer a modern VW Transporter with solar panels on the roof, dual battery system and an inverter. The extra $200k I save is probably better spent on fuel and suspension.
