Gold Coast Hinterland – Walks and Waterfalls
Gold Coast Hinterland has an abundance of waterfall sites to explore up and down the coast.
There are a number of waterfalls around South East Queensland and we will endeavour to bring them all to you.
- Curtis Falls in the Mt Tamborine region.
- Twin Falls in Springbrook National Park.
- Natural Bridge in Springbrook National Park.
- Coomera and Yarrabilgong Falls in Binna Burra.
- Chalanahn Falls, Elbana Falls and Morans Falls in Lamington National Park.
- Box Log Falls, a hike out from O’Reilly’s.
- Mirror Falls on the Albert River also out from O’Reilly’s.
We have included a map for would be travellers to plan a route that suites them best of these beautiful locations for each Gold Coast Hinterland walks and waterfalls.
Coomera Falls is a Class 4 walking track that is to say that it can be rough in some respects. It is total of 17.4 km return walk that will take you through the tropical rainforest along the river bed. It has a few natural lookouts that you can admire from. You will cross the river a couple of times this will involve a bit of balance , good shoes and a few rock hops.
