Eungella National Park

About 1.5 hours drive directly west of Mackay is Eungella National Park which boasts an opportunity to escape the tropical heat and see a platypus. There are two camping areas in the National Park only one of shich is suitable for camper trailers and camper-vans. There are also a number of surrounding national parks and state forests to explore. State forests usually mean 4wd tracks, havent been there so someone let us know what its like.
