How to catch mud crabs headfirst of course
Now this bloke is pretty keen on his mud crab. And I believe that he knows just how to catch mud crabs. If you intend to give this a go you will need to be prepared.
For attempting this you will need to source a few basic tools:
- a set of hands (ones that you’re not to attached to)
- a random stick (anything to defend yourself with, should this go wrong)
- a mate for extraction (you may have to go deep in and note there may be a slight chance you have to go snorkelling)
- a cool hat that won’t just fall off (op shop could be the best bet, otherwise you will need to inherit or buy a hat that you can season to this standard over approximately 20 years)
- no fear (not sure where to muster that one up from)
- and an Aussie (these are a fine and abundant race of man born and bred in the outer regions of every state in Australia. Hearts of gold and nerves of steel)
It’s a good size mud crab and he clearly wanted it. But what has me baffled is where do you get a hat like that which does not come off. Great job cobber. Everyone needs a mate like this to show them just how to catch mud crabs.
